costa del glasgow

I'm in Glasgow three days this week. At my favourite university. Am I allowed to say that? Have favourites?! It is though, because it's my old uni. I'd recommend it to anyone. My brother went there after me. They were incredibly helpful and supportive during my whole degree including when I was quite unwell and struggling with life. It is a happy place for me though, despite the fact I was ill through my time there to varying extents. Studying, though stressful and I felt a great deal of pressure to do well (from myself!) has always been a security blanket for me. I can totally engross myself in it, learn every little thing and distract myself from my worries and life in general really effectively.

I miss it a lot. I also made good friends there including my newly married chum.

It's also reassuring to know the beach is round the corner....

I almost got knocked down taking this photo and didn't get a chance to look closely or explore where it pointed to but it made me smile.
