Snowdrops…
… There are lots about (snowdrops) but they all seem quite small and timid this year. Maybe it’s me? Can snowdrops all come up tiny in any one year? (‘We’ve had to cut back, the supplier can’t get the petals mate’).
It’s not an amazing image anyway.
I had to climb some steps to take it and, precariously balanced, I slipped on the licheny steps on the slopes (Buxton is a martyr to slimy green paths and steps).
No harm done from my slip but I felt moving on was probably wise. (I was imagining the headline, ‘woman broke her back leg trying, in vain, to capture small snowdrop’).
How very British.. Moving on from the embarrassing scene of any injury! (Whilst apologising to all witnesses). I am reminded that I slipped under a moving car once.. (I was so lucky not to be seriously injured) I went down (under it) with a heck of a crump and leapt up like a scalded cat and ran away, to hide in a shop doorway, for a quiet cry, realising my coccyx really hurt!
Daft back then.
So, I clearly haven’t learned much.
