Elephant envy

I am back blipping from our weekend in Addo. Saturday was extrememlt hot - 30 deg with high humidity. We all felt it, and the best place to be was in our cool chalets!
We saw just about all of the 600 elephants in the park at the different waterholes. This one pictured was wasn't too crowded and the elephants had more than enough room to swim, and cover themselves in the black mud. We all wished we could find somewhere to swim too!
In the cooler evening we had the usual braai (BBQ) which, as always was really good. Penni was the braai master and cooked the meat to perfection. Chilled wine helped to make the evening special.
She loved being in the quietness of the bush after Manhattan NYC.
