Chris called with her dogs so we had a walk in the woods. It was nicely sheltered from the wind. Although only 2 miles we had a chance for a good chat. She thought she might have to go down to Northampton as her daughter.

I’ve made another Anna Jones recipe for tonight - Spicy Baked Lentils with Tamarind Sweet potato on top. I think I should have put more spice in it as her last recipe was on the bland side.

I’ve got to get on with my Margaret Drabble “The Ice Age” as it’s my choice for next week’s book group. It’s a state of the nation novel set in the 70s and it could be now.
