Monday: No Pea Shoots :-((

No sign of life on the pea shoots, these were soaking last week - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3199444094837328257 - then sown into cells protected in a plastic container and put in the greenhouse! I’ve brought them into the house now as a cold spell of weather is forecast, they should be warm enough upstairs on a windowsill with radiator nearby :-)

Wind bitterly cold today, lazy day for me with a few quick outings to refill the bird feeders.

We were watching the birds visiting the feeders this afternoon when MrD spotted a small bird of prey lurking on the wall near the horse chestnut tree - we decided it was a female Sparrow Hawk after consulting our British birds book. See extra, which is not very clear having taken it through double glazing and from height and distance.
