When Two Worlds Collide

When the Anti Immigration Marchers met the Refugee supporters it was not exactly a meeting of minds. There is an attempt to blame refugees for all the problems in Irish society. Crisis in housing and healthcare have been with us down through the years. There are shortcomings in any system and those in the refugee process will have to be addressed. I could see by some of the anti immigration groups that this was a way to further their agenda. 

The use of the national flag to support the anti immigration platform is particulary disturbing given that down to the years we have always though it as a symbol in search of peace and justice.
