Marigot, St Martens

We check out Marigot the capital on the French side of StMartens . It’s famous for its colourful architecture.
Unfortunately apart from isolated bits it’s been badly affected by hurricanes and Covid with closed shops and full of locked up now derelict buildings.
Yet this is a very popular island. I don’t recognise it from our last visit in pre Covid times when we visited art galleries and artist studio and a Butterfly farm. All that’s gone. Noticed a. A queue for the ship across to St Barts the exclusive island for ultra rich.
