Progress

A sad start to the day, a very early call from a Nursing Home, Mrs IttH's 102yr old uncle is passing away. The home know if he goes to hospital he'll be left on a trolley in a corridor, so we've arranged for him to stay in the home till the end. What a national disgrace that we've all been complicit in letting the tories bring our NHS to this point.

With Mrs IttH making the long drive to the East coast I had a morning of monkey brain, but 'we' now have an excellent saw horse (for chain-sawing logs) made completely out of old pallet wood. Once I'd figured out the design I enjoyed it immensely and will probably build another for nice neighbour as his shop bought metal one is lethal lol.

Then the postie arrived with some more prototype samples for the Mental Health First Aid Kit, exactly as hoped, another step forward.

Finally settled at the desk. Project completion reports for two funding partners done.
Then started working out how to program and promote our first ever fundraising event - the Cross Bay Walk on June 1st. We're hoping that participants will raise some sponsorship, but the online sponsorship portals are another rabbit hole for another day!
