Treats

Treats brought to me by my Taiwanese PhD student. Special pineapple cakes. Apparently quite a delicacy and a specialism of this shop. I had one after eating yesterday's left over salad for my lunch. I know how to live.

Actually, I shouldn't complain as I had quite a nice dinner courtesy of the university later, entertaining a visiting honorary professor. We had a good chat, also with a colleague who is a really sparky and lively person.

I had to do a lot of talking today, so I was glad that my colleague took most of the burden this evening.

Earlier on, I learned that my office was used for some occupational massages yesterday (one of the treats for well being that we give ourselves occasionally as a School). One of my colleagues came for his annual review, and told me that he'd had a massage in my office yesterday. I felt that was really too much information....
