Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach South Carolina

Happy Birthday To Me :)

Before heading out of Mrytle Beach Gram and I decided a fun thing to do would be to visit the aqarium. We had been seeing signs proclaiming it to be the best aquarium in the south east so figured it might be worth checking out.

It is absolutely amazing! I had a difficult time picking just one picture for the day so ending up resorting to the collage as you can see.

There was wonderful tunnel that wound through the largest tank filled with various sharks and other large fish. It was as good as diving. So neat to see all the movement all around you and watching the sharks swim over your head.

I was impressed to see the swordfish and octopus as I had never either of these in person before.


After the aquarium we decided that instead of sticking to the coast as we had originally planned we would head inland since the weather looked better in that direction.

We stopped at South of the Border that afternoon as well. Didn't spend to long there....just enough time to stretch our legs and take in the atmosphere, quite the interesting place :)
