Bluebell Arboretum

This fabulous collection of marvellous trees near Ashby de la Zouch, is one of my favourite peaceful and beautiful places. 

It’s free admission for RHS members but certainly not expensive anyway. It’s marvellous whatever the season, but today it was soggy underfoot with last night’s rain. 

My extra is a Camellia (I hope my Madeira trip will not mean that I miss my own which are shaping up nicely at home). 

I gave into temptation today, and bought a Japanese Quince. I’m not good with plants, although I love them, so please wish me luck.
