Very early spring sunshine
After the flakes of snow falling past the Victorian streetlight while it was still dark didn't lie, it was a fine sunny cold day, with definite warmth in sheltered sunny spots.
Out to hunt down new light bulbs in the morning; for future reference, John Lewis is the place to start. Once the contractors had gone, we walked by the Botanics (one big tree coming down) then the Water of Leith path. Early daffodils coming out, and crocuses, in a sheltered space.
Anyone know who could use simple pendant ceiling lights, with cylindrical shade and bulb ? There are four, surplus to requirements, less than 2 years old. Do charity shops take that kind of electrical fitting ?
Colder this morning, 8 Feb; frost on windscreens.
