Same old same old

Sorry ...

It should have been the Thursday walk today, but prime movers M-P and B were otherwise engaged, so no-one else turned up. I decided to go anyway, and did the circuit round the lake that I would have proposed if anyone had shown up. Unfortunately the weather deteriorated en route, from sunshine to clouds and a damp-feeling wind. Still, it's only a short walk -- 4.5 km, 72 m of climbing, a few minutes over an hour. Not very photogenic though -- the lake was dull and green, with no sign of life (it's artificial, intended for fishing, but I don't think there are fish in it any more).

Tomorrow may be more exciting on at least one level -- watch this space!
