Dragonfly...

Went to the botanicals with the baby again today. I actually had lunch with the entire family before the baby and I set off for the wilds of the botanic garden. The baby rode half the time and ran/walked along side of the stroller the rest of the time. We had quite a time.

I started playing the camera with 3 goals in mind: 1) dragonflies 2) satiny water and 3) an occasional photo that would make me gasp with delight. I don't often get to satisfy one of those conditions, but this one hits on condition 1. There appear to be 2 varieties of dragonflies at the botanic garden, one is a sort of streamlined neon blue-green model and this type, a much more elaborate and fancy red orange model. This one posed quite well.

Today, I give thanks for the day I was given, lunch with my family, fun with the baby, yard help from my neighbor boy, Joshua and cold clean water when you come in from work and play in the sun.
