Volcanoes and Virga at Sunset

The monsoon has begun with a vengeance in New Mexico. Daily rain makes life tolerable and cool and the plants adore it. Joe and I got this shot of the Albuquerque volcanoes from the other side of the Rio Grande rift in the foothills of the Sandias (just out of Elena Gallegos Park and into the Pino Wilderness). Joe does love to walk and his trail manners are developing nicely.

I give thanks today for the day I was given, time with the baby, walks with the dog, being able to read, and warm baths.
