Graduation Day!

Oscar and Bailee celebrated the end of a school year with a graduation ceremony today :-) At first I thought it seemed a bit formal and 'grown up' for 3-year-olds, but in reality it was super-cute. The children got dressed up in gowns and hats, sung beautifully and then we got to watch a gorgeous slideshow featuring every child in their class involved in what they like doing best!

After the ceremony, the cloaks were tossed off as quick as can be in anticipation of the goody bags they had seen their teacher putting together for them! (Stickers, Smarties and crayons).

I took my little graduates home early and they both picked a metal drink bottle as a 'graduation present.' Oscar chose a knight design (He was very insistent about it too as "Knight's ride horses") Bailee chose a Princess (She has definitely got into more gender-stereotypical things since starting nursery :-/

We had a really nice afternoon, well all but Maple who has a virus poor baby. Her temperature went above 39 and she was so upset this afternoon. Hope our baby girl gets better quickly.
