Russell cemetery Bay of Islands

Dad and I had a wander around the cemetery this morning before driving back to his place in Warkworth.

A beautiful site for the cemetery to be.
Over looking the bay, surrounded by nature.
We have some relatives here from the early 1900’s. Tragically drowned as was fairly common back there.

Dad has his plot put aside here too.
This is where he will be buried.
A good choice I think!

Even though he is in great health etc he has everything planned and organised for when his day comes, he wants it to be easy for my brothers and I.
