Dad

Dad’s backyard.
Even though he lives in a retirement village he is very independent.
Has a lovely two bedroom villa with a great garden. Still grows his own vegetables.
His villa overlooks the river and Kauri trees.
I love that I can see his Tui bird feeder and his prayer flags ( looking a bit weathered) that he bought back from Bhutan in this picture.

Off to stay with my other brother tomorrow.
He lives on Waiheke Island so I’m very lucky.
