The Eyes Have It

After yesterday's commentary on the new functions on my best camera it was back to using the phone camera tonight after another day of work.

It is remarkable how far things have come in the tools of photography.  The compact camera market, with the exception of some 'pro' specification models, looks all but dead.  Is it any surprise when we feed on photographs almost exclusively via on-line sources and it is so easy to produce an image like this with only a few seconds of processing?  Traditional camera manufacturers still haven't delivered on a seamless way of uploading an image shot with a 'traditional' digital camera straight to social media. Instead we have to employ inermediary apps which, depending on the manufacturer can be fiddly to use.
