Trees in Mist

I went out early to take some photos after spending much of the week relying on shots from home. It was a misty start and I always enjoy such conditions. I stopped near Little Wyrley Hall to photograph these trees standing majestically amongst this field. Even with the mist the high voltage cables running across this area were still noticeable in the scene, though I thought I could remove them in post processing.

I haven't had cause to use one of the new AI tools in Photoshop before, which is specifically set up to remove these wires and cables. In the past it is a laborious job to clone out the wires but now you simply choose the Remove Tool, select wires and cables and it just does its thing. It did a superb job in just a few seconds and saved me a lot of time, allowing me to concentrate on the artistic rendering of the image in black and white. Whatever next?

We took L's Mum out for lunch, bumping in to our oldest friends in the pub.  We had a good catch up while waiting for ages for the food to arrive.  Apparently the Chef had to leave at short notice, his wife having gone into labour, but the time passed quickly in good company.
