Rex

Rex is Andorinha's puppy that is being trained up by his Mum to look after Rodrigo's (our neighbour) small flock of sheep. Mum was in front with most of them, and Rex tearing along behind. This is on our top Land, as we came back from town. When the sun is shining, impossible to see on the phone's screen what you are photographing, so this was taken blind and in a rush, but Rex is so cute, and I love the light. That's our top building on the right.

We'd been into town to the market and to the police again, to see if they could give us a permit to drive until the inspection, but no way, José.

Disappointed that Cecílio and Ermelinda had to cancel eating with us tonight, he's ill with fever and pain, especially as Mike had made delicious pizzas.

Gratefuls:
- deciding to put our predicament onto our colleagues' chat, and getting so much advice, and offers of help, and prayer for the email to come sooner than a month, plus just feeling cared for
- Göran offering to come pick us up for Sem Fim tomorrow (and bring us back), so kind, it's a lot of extra driving for him, plus he'll take us to visit Gunilla on the way (and take one of Mike's pizzas for them)
- our lawyer friend in Lisbon immediately offering to see what he can do
