Had a great time last night. Neil was awesome as EZ Highway predicted. Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre parking left a lot to be desired though. It took us an hour and fifteen minutes to get out after the show! Needless to say there were plenty examples of road rage as well as pushing and shoving to get a position in the queue. It wasn't a queue that was going anywhere fast but that didn't stop them. There were several incidents when the thin piece of paper was all that separated them. So, best advice is, if you have to go there either get in early so you can park near the exit - or DON'T take your car!
As a result we didn't get home until 1am. Cream crackered again. Add to that the usual side effects of antibiotics and I'm not in a mood to go anywhere today. So took a piccie of my favourite rose. Actually it's the only one. IT probably survives because it is much more hardy than any of the hybrid T roses and it loves to ramble over everything.
It is the beautiful musk rose that climbs up around my kitchen window. I love the smell. It also sounded a bit like the name of Zephram Cochrane - the man who discovered (will discover!) warp drive in First Contact. As it was on in the cinema at the time I bought the rose...
