Saturday: Jungle Walk

After a nice leisurely morning we took S to Herman’s Cave and, from there, we did the hike to the Blue Hole.  K drove to meet us there so that we didn’t have to do the hike there and back.  It’s a nice walk but can be sticky and hot so one way is plenty.

The jungle was looking very lush and green today.  

We had planned to go to ‘Hambre’ this evening, Belmopan’s one attempt at slightly finer dining.  Turned out that they were having a six course set menu which wasn’t suitable for S as a vegetarian (and which we didn’t particularly fancy either).  So back to Corkers it was……
