(The other) Bean update
The bean wigwams have taken a beating in the last couple of weeks from high winds. As a result the windward wigwam first developed a lean, and then a cane snapped.
I had to take action, hence the blue guyrope, which is attached to the frame of the hen run and is keeping the wigwam structures upright.
And while they are upright, flowers and small beans were blown about like mad: some blown off. There's been a slight hiatus in the crop thanks to this, but they are just about to start flooding in again.
The day started at 3C, which was far too cold for February. But it warmed up to 20-ish thank goodness. And it's looking as though the wee cold snap has given way to warmth again.
Happy days.
Thank you for all the lovely comments about the bouncing Bean yesterday.
