Leeds Liverpool canal from Rishton.

The Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Maria and Ben set off to visit a friend after a late breakfast with us.
In the afternoon I watched online Mass from Ireland and then had lunch.
It was a quiet day at home apart from the walk to the canal to take this photo. It was good to see the pair of swans and a canal boat moored up. Tabby cat was there too.
In the evening I made a pasta penne salad and watched Call the Midwife and Death in Paradise, for the first time.
