Carnock Hutters

Over the Forth tae Fife today and a walk at Carnock Woods. I was last here about a month ago, in the dark, and had noticed a couple of new huts where there were none before (years ago). This time I could see several more, still being built. 

There was a man working on one who explained this was the Carnock Hutters, an group of people (12 families) all building off grid huts, no water, no electriicty, over the past few years. It seems to be overseen by Reforesting Scotland with a campaign to have 1000 huts built in Scotland, and people apply to be part of each group. I will need to keep an eye on this one.
