Monday: Garden City Mall

I had the day off today which was nice.  S had a bit of work to do this morning - she’s a pollster so was being interviewed by Canadian radio on a couple of things - but it was still nice to have the rest of the day off when she finished.

We took her to do a little bit of shopping for touristy stuff (such as it is) and then showed her the highlights of Belmopan, like the bus station, legislature and this downtown mall.

We planned to head out for dinner but not many restaurants are open on a Monday and those that were had poor vegetarian options.  So instead we got a massively oversized pizza and brought it home where we watched ‘The Greatest Night In Pop’ on Netflix.  I can really recommend it - it was a charming documentary that captured a certain time perfectly.
