Taken at the Flood
Tewkesbury is at the confluence of the Mighty River Severn and the Avon whilst also being a very flat area which doesn't help with water problems. The sewage pipes here span the river which you can't tell as the water levels are so high.
With the huge amount of rain we've had down lately it's hardly any surprise that the majority of the surrounding fields are underwater. I had to do a twenty point turn down a country lane here as the road ahead was impassable and I couldn't back up as there was an empty car and a very steamed up van parked up with only enough room to get through. Tempting though it was to toot for them to move I was restrained.
