The Catch

Catching a vole is one thing but taking it away quietly to eat is another and unfortunately it was robbed by a kestrel. The owl flew to the floor to cover and eat it but the kestrel came in like a rocket from nowhere and in the blurry Extra (I've over sharpened so you can see what went on as the grasses got in the way) the owl putting up a defence was no match for the sheer aggression of the kestrel. The owl flew away leaving the kestrel with the vole. I did feel sorry for it.
