Commercialisation.

Did a big food shop in Tesco today. This had to be my blip, think it's got something to do with the date?! The lady waiting for me to take the picture must have wondered why I was taking it!

My girls spent many of their student years waitressing (they are handy to have around when a table needs clearing). They always hated Valentine's Day, so many tables for just two, a lot of work for them. They are both cynical of these commercialised dates.

Spoke with GP about my ear problem, he's a very nice man who's come out of retirement to help the short staffed Health centre. When I said it's been going on for 4 months, he said 'Blimey, that's a long time". He had got my notes in front of him! Anyway, he is going to refer me to ENT but doesn't hold out any hope of me being seen in the foreseeable, or distant future! What a sorry state we are in.

RIP Steve Wright, a real shock to hear of his death today. He always made me laugh when I listened to him in the afternoons.
