The fruits ..

... of my labour over the weekend. Bench painted.

It was good to 'feel' the kitchen in use today, Hayley down from Manchester, and Jodie ran the 4 + miles from her home. She's getting addicted to running (I think it does that to you). 

Anyway, it was lovely to be making lunch while everyone sat in the family room and I could join in with the conversations. In our other house, although the kitchen was large and had table and chairs, generally I was out in the kitchen on my own.

Still undecided about which shade of green to go with.
