Shrove Tuesday: Daffodils in Bud …

… and Mahonia aquifolium, both of which are very welcome and I’m looking forward to seeing them in flower.

This morning was mild and Springlike, temperature still in single digits but the cold wind had gone. I cleaned the large sunflower seeds feeder, try to do this regularly.

Did some family history - there are 3 DNA cousins who are related to my paternal 5 times great grandparents, this is going back to the 1700s and information is rather thin …

This afternoon it turned very cold and damp so I did some reading.
