Built around 1475 to replace an earlier wooden version from around 1280, this is one of the longest medieval bridges in England. It has 24 arches of differing sizes, all of which were nearly hidden by this morning's very high tide.
You will have gathered from the history lesson that it has been a very misty mizzly murky morning, with nothing to blip.
The extra shows there was also quite a lot of overnight rain. Luckily the pedestrian was not that bit further down the road.
