Valentine’s Day,

I picked some snowdrops and put them in a small ceramic vase that Pat had made she attended California College of Arts and Crafts.  Almost 60 years ago. 

Today we are having Lunch at St Michaels Inn. The venue has been selected by Pat. The Inn is only 5 miles away from us.

Recently bought by a Spanish couple they are working through a programme of work to refurbish and modernise the building.

The food that they is of the highest quality. The extra shows my main course.

We have had a great lunch. Pat was delighted when her food was served with a red rose.

Afterwards, and back home Pat prepared an appropriate gin based cocktail.
