A soft day

This photo was taken at 2pm and, believe it or not, is in colour! It was misty when we awoke this morning and the day remained soft. I had a drippy walk with a friend in Mountstewart, where the drizzly rain seemed to fold around us rather than fall from on high.

In keeping with the dampness, we saw a little frog on the path in front of us. Well, SJ saw it and I nearly stomped on it, it was so well camouflaged on the muddy pathway. We encouraged froggy to leap into some nice soggy leaf litter at the side of the path, a few hops from the lake. I hope it stayed off the thoroughfare!
