Gloriana

This blip brings me up to date with my London adventure most of which has been back-blipped. If you feel inclined please have a look at the weekends blips.

Back in East Molesey for a couple of days we spent a very relaxing day strolling in warm sunshine along the Thames path near Kingston. After a pleasant lunch at a riverside cafe we took a boat ride along the river back to Hampton Court.

Rounding a bend in the river we were amazed to see the Royal barge Gloriana used in the Jubilee moored outside a private house. A couple of weeks ago it had been damaged when trying to pass through Kew bridge and has been moored here whilst awaiting some minor repairs to be carried out by the builder in Kingston.
