A Powerless Day

The power is still out and for a variety of reasons there have been no pictures taken today. I'm uploading this picture of our house on South Lauder Avenue in the Grange in Edinburgh where we lived in the 70's. We lived in the upstairs . The open windows had a spectacular view of Arthur's Seat . A little old lady lived in the downstairs. We may have known her name at one time but I have forgotten it. We never saw her as her entry was around the corner on Lauder Road. This picture was taken with my niece and her daughter in 2012 when we were all visiting. I am uploading at Dana and Jim's but there isn't really much time to relate our day huddled in front of the gas fireplace. It wasn't very exciting anyway.
