Early Morning Run……

Two young women making the most of the start of their day…… a river run.
A slightly cooler day. Because the Wither Hills Farm Park is closed due to extreme fire risk, many of its regular users have gravitated to the Taylor River paths and tracks for their regular exercise. It’s a pleasure to meet up with folk I would generally see “on the Withers”.
I went to art this morning. Pastel painting group. A special group of friends. So good to to catch up with them.
The raging fires on the Port Hills near Christchurch are 75% contained thank goodness. It is a huge undertaking to have done so relatively quickly . We are so grateful for the dedication and hard work of our fire and emergency services. Arohanui.
