Make up your mind

I went into Manchester, this afternoon, to buy a few bits and pieces for Valentine's Day as well as Hannah's birthday, which is also on the fourteenth. 

Part of that process involved buying cards, of course. I didn't buy either of those in the photograph, although I did stand in front of them for an unnecessarily long time, pondering their contradictory versions of the facts. 

In the evening, the Minx went out with some friends for the first in her new scheme of doing things that she and her pals wouldn't normally do. This evening was karaoke! (The Minx's song was 'Sometimes' by James.)

And while she was doing that, Hannah came around to the house for birthday drinks and presents, as I won't see her on the day (she's off to the opera with her mum).
