What do think it feels like?...

...slimy! 

Today's outing was to Telford Exotic Zoo, which I made the mistake of suggesting to Owen yesterday meaning that he definitely wasn't going to dirge about it. He seemed a bit underwhelmed at first (I think he remembered it as being a lot bigger) and really didn't want to touch the snake at the start.
He warmed up after a snack though and soon got to feeding the goats, going into the rabbit pen, touching the tortoises's shell, and finally plucking up the courage to go back to the rainforest shed to stroke and even hold the snake here...realising that it wasn't slimy. 

After that excitement we took the opportunity to go into town get World Book Day books, then back to the park for a turn on the big slide and a ruin around the playground.
