Blue day

So much blue sky and matching blue of Lake Pukaki today. Biked up the Alps to Ocean trail (ocean to Alps!) from Twizel to Tekapo B power station. Had peanut butter sandwiches and dabbled our feet looking at Mt Cook and Mt Tasman. K reminiscing (again) about climbing Tasman in mid 1970s, and nearly getting up Mt Cook, turned back because of weather.
It’s hard to believe today that there’s a severe wind warning for tomorrow, bikes padlocked up and books to the ready… be it’ll good to have a rest.
