Limbs and Sky

As I was riding through the countryside this heavily lopped tree made a stark silhouette against the sky.

Although I had in mind another image taken earlier, this made a stronger impression of abandonment to me, even though I think the harsh cutting was to save the tree rather than neglect it. Someone more knowledgeable is welcome to correct me.
