Wildflower

This lovely flower is part of the wildflower mix that MrMacD spread over two parts of the garden in spring - or at least the wind did as it blew the seeds out of his hand.  The flowers have brought a lot of pleasure. 

Today was busy.  We went to the Friday coffee morning and chatted much too long, then walked back up the hill.  We had household and garden chores to do after lunch and also preparations to make for our bus trip tomorrow.  MrMacD cooked a delicious frittata, filled with produce from the garden and eggs from Blipper Mima.  We had some for supper, put some in the fridge for later and put some into two containers for our lunch tomorrow.  It was a large frittata!

It was later than I wanted by the time we got to bed but we did achieve quite a lot during the afternoon and evening.
