Out of the darkness
Thank you again for your continued good wishes, stars and hearts for little Lili. She’s currently giving her poor parents rather a hard time, refusing to sleep and demanding to be cuddled! And apologies for being rather absent from blip over the last couple of days.
It’s a Lili-free zone today as far as images are concerned, and for the first time since getting back from Northumberland, I’ve actually taken photographs beyond the house and garden.
A dull day characterised by heavy cloud does not seem promising, but I’m keen to head to West Shore where there’s an outdoor art installation overlooking the beach. I do take a few shots, but it’s currently fenced off and there’s no way I can get a decent view. I’ll have to return on a ‘viewing day’ when I presume the fences will be removed.
Still, it’s West Shore, and there’s always photographic opportunities at hand. Just as we arrive, there is a lightening in the clouds as the sun begins to appear over the top of what appear to be the darkest rain clouds. This presents the most amazing light across the water of the estuary, shining silver against the blackness of the Carneddau, gulls catching the light in their wings.
