Tightly rippled sand
A return to West Shore this morning, though in brighter weather. Dark clouds still cling to the hills, but above the sea, the skies are lighter, blue emerging from the grey.
It’s some time since I’ve walked over to the far end of the beach where at low tide the skeletons of the old outlet pipe supports rise out of the tightly rippled sand. Despite it being February, the watery sun feels warm. It really feeds like spring.
