Another spring treasure

One of my dad’s favourites.  When I moved here I planted one like he had in his garden, and 35 years later, it’s still here. Chaenomeles superba Pink Lady.  This is the first group of flowers to appear this year.  It was supposed to be a nice afternoon according to my phone - I don’t know why I still believe it:) In fact it rained and rained.  And I didn’t go out for a walk, as planned. So this is my blip today.
