The Shaldon Ferry

It's been a good day weatherwise. We've been expecting the gas man to come and look at our smart meter, which hasn't been too smart.. The meter wasn't working so he fitted a new one. Unfortunately ... he couldn't commission it because the system is down nationally. I did read somewhere that the smart meter tech is provided by Fujitso, so that explains a lot!

I popped out to Teignmouth and walked along Back beach. I saw the ferry coming in from Shaldon so I got myself in a position to catch him in a clear patch of water.
