Haven Banks

I was due to meet my pal, John, at Princetown today for a meal and some photography. The weather was foul so we cancelled that and arranged to meet at The Quay in Exeter instead. We had lunch and a pint at The Prospect and afterwards took a walk along the river and crossed to Haven Banks and back. It was pretty gloomy but I took a few pictures. This one is looking across the river to where the Exeter Ship Canal joins the river. There were lots of birds (gulls and cormorants mostly) sitting on the barrier.

Today is the Wide on Wednesday challenge (hosted by BobsBlips) and the theme today is 'The Weather with You'. You can probably see from my picture that it's very foggy. In fact on my way over the golf course it was extremely thick. So I think I'm well on theme today even if it's not the most exiting image.
