Greenness…

… There’s a mossiness about nearly all Buxton trees that makes them look very soft and velvety. Huggable.
(Most of the paving stones are equally as velvety too but, in a less good way. Green underfoot often spells slippery).

I have been at work.
In true Ronnie Barker Arkwright fashion, the cash till fought back. Admittedly I had, without thought, put my hot drink in front of the drawer. It sprang out, like a jet powered kangaroo, smashed the mug on the floor and surprised me with a comprehensive dousing of boiling water. One of those slow motion moments; brain slightly ahead of the physical body. (‘I…. shoo…. ould…. tryyyy…. to…. catch… thaaaat’).

I dried :-)
