On the ridgeway somewhere…

I was back over to Winchester today and had lunch with Emily. It is great to see her gradually getting back to normality after a year of long Covid. It is a long haul but every time I see her now she has progressed even more.

On the way back I decided to to take a back road rather than head along the M4. I always think the rolling landscape north of the M4 and east of Swindon looks very photogenic. I thought I would see if I could find a place for a photo. Even had my Nikon with me.

Basic error, after 15 minutes walking up a hill I got the Nikon out only to find there was no battery left! Thankfully I had my iPhone.

After trying to establish map location, I realise I was on Charlbury Hill.
